Cutest Little Monkey in the World

Cotton-Top Tamarin ~ Graveyard Plume
"Cutest little monkey in the world" is a phrase one of my conservation heroes uses to describe the cotton-top tamarin. Cotton-top tamarins live in the forest of Colombia of South America. Don't feel bad if you have never heard of them before; many of the Colombians don't even realize cotton-tops are an endangered species.

My little cotton-tops are on a piece of graveyard plume, not because of the kind of rock but because of the size. This particular rock is only about 3 1/2 inches across which is one of the smallest pieces in my WCN 2018 Fall collection. This is fitting because cotton-tops are such little monkeys weighing less than a pound. That's about the size of a half pound colossal burger!

As with the rest of this collection, the cotton-top tamarins are sold. Who knows maybe they will make a second appearance at the next WCN fall expo coming up in 2019!
