Panda Painting

Panda ~ Moss Agate
Pandas belong to the order of Carnivora. Traditionally, this family includes animals that eat meat although not all meat eating animals belong to this classification. Along with felines and canines bears are included in the order of Carnivora, which is where the panda comes in.

It is fascinating to consider that pandas belong to this classification as common knowledge has it these are gentle bamboo eating animals. However, they do posses some of the adaptations characteristic of those animals who primarily eat meat. Some of those characteristics include sharp canines and strong claws on their feet.

Despite their peaceful nature pandas are one of the many animals whose homes and lives are threatened. Of course there are lots of organizations dedicated to helping the pandas out. I think the best things we can do to help pandas is simply to love them. After all, as a wise old wizard named Dumbledore once said, "love is the most powerful magic of all." Love will motivate us to action to help all of our fellow animals on earth in whatever way we can.

Panda ~ Moss Agate was requested by a costumer. While I enjoy painting what inspires me I do occasionally take request orders. If you can't find the animal you want on the Shop Painting page consider making a request.
